Axel Krygier
A vocalist, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, AXEL KRYGIER is a central figure in the alternative music scene in Argentina, where he's considered as a modern-day Renaissance man, having ran the gamut from playing in rock bands, writing scores for acclaimed playwrights, and being a forerunner of the digital cumbia movement. After two acclaimed albums in his own country, "Pesebre" is his first international release.

This is how US magazine Global Rhythm described him in 2008: "AXEL KRYGIER's unique sound -a mash-up of jazz, rock, electronica, cumbia, Argentinian folklore and experimental music - makes it easy to succumb to such tempting descriptions as "Atahualpa Yupanqui meets Thelonious Monk, performed by Frank Zappa and remixed by Diplo", but the brush that this composer paints with is even broader than that."

AXEL KRYGIER has already performed around Europe, especially in Spain and in France, where he performed both with his band and in a more minimal, sound-system-like setting, and also wrote and recorded music for a successful production by renowned Argentinian author Alfredo Arias ("Trois Tangos"). In 2008 he had also toured the US, joining forces with the spearheads of the Argentinian digital cumbia scene, the Zizek (ZZK) collective, to set clubs and festivals on fire. AXEL will now be spending more and more time on this side on the pond, as he's setting up a new, Paris-based band with which he will start touring upon the release of "Pesebre".

Geko Jones
Geko Jones is a Brooklyn-based Puerto-lombian DJ/Producer and Vibe Springer. He is a founding member of both the New York Tropical and Que Bajo?! party franchises in New York. He is also a co-owner of the Dutty Artz record label with DJ /Rupture and Matt Shadetek. His mixes span the tropical hemispheres and collage together globally sonic hours of dancefloor mayhem. Renowned by top DJ's and producers of the digital cumbia scene in South America and European bass-pundits alike, Jones is one of the select few DJ's pushing forward the Latin agenda in a world wide tropical bass scene. The past five years have found him sharing a booth or collaborating with a long roster of A-list globalistas like Radioclit, Buraka Som Systema, Vampire Weekend, Uproot Andy, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Stereotyp, ZZK, Maluca, Dub War, Toy Selectah and more. Catch him tearing the roof off outdoor festivals, getting the crowd bubbling on illegal boat parties, or conjuring up the next great underground sound and racking up airmiles from Brooklyn to Bogota and Berlin
