Los Chinches in Concert * Dublin : 19th March

Groovalizacion and Havana Club present a night of tropical surf rock and psychedelic Amazon cumbia with Los Chinches at the Mercantile.

This London based 8-strong band brings together a dynamic blend of Peruvian percussionists and London bred guitar and keyboard players, creating their own music and a unique sound that combines the kaleidoscopic vibes of Peruvian cumbia with a rock'n'roll spirit native to London.

Los Chinches will be supported by the up-and-coming young singer/songwriter Aline Frazao, who will play a soulful music from Angola to Cape Verde.

Continuing with the tropical mood, Cal Jader who pioneers the Latin and Tropical underground sound in London will get behind the decks mixing Cumbia, Salsa, and Latin beats with Hip Hop, Reggae, Urban and the freshest Tropical bass and global dancefloor sounds. Cal Jader's DJed alongside the likes of Manu Chao, Ska Cubano, Los De Abajo, Chocquibtown, Bomba Estereo and Novalima at top UK festivals including Roskilde Festival (Denmark), Glastonbury, The Big Chill & Bestival.
